Introduction

Whether you're already running a program or preparing to launch a new initiative, you likely understand the benefits of mentoring and the positive impact a mentoring program can have on your objectives. We'll discuss program purpose later in the course, but first, we'll explore Mentorloop's mentoring philosophy and the principles we stand by.

By the end of this module, you'll have a clear understanding of:

  • Mentorloop's mentoring philosophy
  • The what and why of reciprocal mentoring
  • The power of "personal advisory boards"
  • How Mentorloop empowers you to be a people hero!

Conclusion

In this module, we've seen that while mentoring and finding the right connections can change someone's life, these connections are not always so easy to come by. They typically favour the bold or those with already existing networks.

Mentorloop helps people like you make mentoring more accessible for everyone in your organisation. By encouraging your participants to engage in reciprocal mentoring and build their personal advisory boards, they will unlock the power of mentoring in ways they may not be able to otherwise, and you will become a people hero.

In the next module, you'll learn about the role of a Program Coordinator.
