Your AI mentoring assistant is here to support your mentoring journey.

Loopy is currently in Beta.
This feature is still being refined and may change as we continue improving the experience.

What is Loopy?

Loopy is your AI-powered mentoring assistant, available right within Mentorloop to help you get the most out of your mentoring experience. Loopy provides guidance, answers your questions, and suggests helpful actions based on where you are in your mentoring journey.

What Can Loopy Help With?

Loopy is designed to support you throughout your entire mentoring experience. Here are some ways Loopy can help:

Setting up your profile, understanding how the program works, and preparing for your first meeting.
Building your relationship
Navigating conversations, handling challenges, and strengthening your mentoring connection.
Setting goals
Creating meaningful goals, tracking progress, and staying motivated.
Meeting guidance
Preparing agendas, scheduling meetings, and making the most of your time together.
Problem solving
Addressing concerns, managing expectations, and overcoming obstacles.
Growth & development
Maximizing learning, reflecting on progress, and planning next steps.

How to Access Loopy

Availability

Loopy is currently in beta and may not be available in all programs. If you don't see Loopy in your program, it means your Program Coordinator hasn't enabled it yet.

When Loopy is available in your program, you'll see the Loopy button in the bottom right corner of Mentorloop.

To open Loopy:

  1. Look for the Loopy button (appears as a chat bubble) in the bottom right corner of most pages
  2. Click the Loopy button to open the chat interface
  3. Start typing your question or select a suggested topic

How Loopy Works

Loopy is powered by AI and trained on mentoring best practices and Mentorloop features.

  • Context-aware: Loopy can provide suggestions based on your program and mentoring activity.
  • Personalized guidance: Responses are tailored to your situation.
  • Action-oriented: Loopy helps guide you on what to do next.
  • Always available: Get help whenever you need it, 24/7.

What Loopy can't do

  • Make matches or change your mentoring partners
  • Access private messages between you and your mentor/mentee
  • Make decisions on behalf of your Program Coordinator
  • Provide professional counseling or mental health support
  • Replace human connection — Loopy enhances, not replaces, mentoring relationships.

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important. Here's what you should know about Loopy:

  • Program-level enablement: Loopy is only available if enabled for your program.
  • Program-specific data: Loopy may use information about your profile, goals, and activity within your program to provide relevant guidance.
  • No access to private participant messages: Loopy cannot read private messages between mentoring partners.
  • Conversation visibility: Loopy conversations are not shared with your Program Coordinator or other participants.

When to Contact Support or Your PC Instead

While Loopy can help with many questions, you should contact Mentorloop support or your Program Coordinator directly for:

  • Technical issues or bugs
  • Account access problems
  • Concerns about safety or inappropriate behavior
  • Questions about program-specific policies or requirements
  • Requests to change program settings or features

Troubleshooting

I don't see Loopy in my program

Loopy may not be enabled for your program yet. This feature is currently in beta. Contact your Program Coordinator if you'd like to request access.

Loopy isn't answering my question correctly

Try rephrasing your question with more detail. If Loopy still can't help, contact your Program Coordinator or Mentorloop support directly.

The Loopy button disappeared

Try refreshing the page. If the button still doesn't appear, it may have been disabled for your program, or there may be a technical issue.

Can I turn off Loopy?

You can close the Loopy chat window by clicking the Minimize button at the top right. The Loopy icon will remain visible.
