Your AI program management assistant is here to support you in running successful mentoring programs.
What is Coco?
Coco is an AI-powered program coordination assistant available inside Mentorloop. It helps Program Coordinators learn how to use Mentorloop effectively across the full program lifecycle, from setup and launch through to ongoing optimization.
Coco can also guide you through in-app product tours (available to Pro Program Coordinators before launch), help you share feedback, submit bug reports, and connect you to Mentorloop support when you need more tailored help.
What Can Coco Help With?
Coco is designed to support you throughout your entire program lifecycle. Here are some ways Coco can help:
Program Setup Configuring program settings, choosing a mentoring format, creating milestones, and preparing for launch. | Launch & Onboarding Step-by-step guidance, in-app product tours (pre-launch on Pro), and launch checklists to get your program off to a strong start. |
Matching Strategy Designing matching criteria, understanding manual matching, and handling common rematch scenarios. | Data & Reporting (How-To) How to export data, what to measure, and how to build stakeholder reporting workflows (without accessing your private program analytics). |
Troubleshooting & Support Common “how do I…?” questions, diagnosing typical setup issues, and guidance on next steps when something isn’t working. | Feedback & Requests Submitting feature requests, sending bug reports, and escalating to Mentorloop support when you need a human to investigate. |
How to Access Coco
Availability
Coco is currently available to Program Coordinators on Mentorloop Pro plans. If you don’t see Coco in your dashboard, it means you’re on a different plan. (Coco is not currently available on Enterprise.)
When Coco is available, you'll see the Coco icon in the bottom right corner of your Coordinator Dashboard.
To open Coco:
- Look for the Coco icon (appears as a chat bubble) in the bottom right corner of any coordinator page
- Click the icon to open the chat interface
- Start typing your question or browse suggested topics
Using Coco in Trial / Demo Mode (Pre-Launch)
If you’re trialing Mentorloop Pro or haven’t launched your program yet, Coco may show a Get Started area with guided setup help and tours. This can include information on subscriptions, integrations, Mentorloop Academy content, and launch preparation. Once a program is launched, this pre-launch Get Started area may no longer appear.

What Coco Can't Do
While Coco is a powerful assistant, it cannot:
- Access your private program data (e.g., participant activity, engagement analytics, or match outcomes)
- Access private messages between participants
- Create matches or unmatch participants automatically
- Make configuration changes or modify program settings directly
- Provide legal advice or handle compliance matters
Privacy & Data
Your data security is important. Here’s what you should know about Coco:
- Coordinator-facing: Coco is available to Program Coordinators on Pro plans.
- No private program data access: Coco does not access private program configuration, participant activity metrics, or your program’s analytics. It answers based on Help Hub and public resources.
- No private messages: Coco cannot read the content of private messages between participants.
- Conversations: Your chats with Coco are intended for support and guidance.
- Usage analytics: Mentorloop may collect anonymized usage data to help improve the experience.
When to Contact Mentorloop Support
Coco can help with many day-to-day “how do I…?” questions, but you should contact Mentorloop support for:
- Account or billing issues
- Technical bugs or system errors requiring investigation
- Serious safety concerns or policy violations
- Legal or compliance questions
- API access or advanced technical configuration
Remember: Coco provides on-demand guidance, and Mentorloop support can help with complex scenarios or cases needing hands-on assistance.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Coco in my coordinator dashboard
Coco is available to Program Coordinators on Mentorloop Pro plans (and is not currently available on Enterprise). If you don't see Coco, check with your organization about your current plan level. Contact Mentorloop support to learn about upgrading to Pro and unlocking Coco.
Coco isn't understanding my question
Try providing more context about what you’re trying to do in Mentorloop (for example: program type, duration, and the step you’re stuck on). If you still need help, ask Coco to connect you with Mentorloop support.
The Coco icon disappeared from my dashboard
Try refreshing the page. If the icon still doesn't appear, there may be a technical issue or the feature may not be included in your current plan. Contact Mentorloop support if the problem persists.
Can I give my co-coordinators access to Coco?
Coco is available to Program Coordinators on Pro plans. If a co-coordinator doesn't see Coco, check their role permissions and your plan level, or contact Mentorloop support for help.
