As a Program Coordinator you can invite individual participants to your mentoring program.
How to approve a suggested mentor/mentee?
When one of your participants suggest a mentor/mentee, you will receive an in-app notification and an email saying that a participant has invited firstname.lastname@example.org to join your program.
Simply click "send invitation" and an email gets triggered to email@example.com, inviting them to join the program by linking to the signup form.
Alternatively, you can open your loop with the participant who made the referral and speak to them about it.
How can I invite a mentor/mentee to my program?
- From your top Program Navigation bar, you have the option to suggest a mentor or mentee that you think would be interested in joining the program.
- You can simply scroll to the bottom of your dashboard, enter their email and invite!
You can also email a link directly to any potential participant you choose via the Program Settings page by navigating through your Program navigational bar on the top left. Select either 'Copy link' or 'Email'. An automated email will then be drafted so that you can customise the wording of the email.
What will this look like for the participants?
Any one of your participants are also able to suggest a mentor/mentee to join the mentoring program. They can do this in three different places:
Straight from their dashboard;
At the end of the registration process, or;
When they search for a Mentor or Mentee, but can’t find someone that meets their search criteria.
