It is recommended that you keep your profile updated to assist your Program Coordinators in finding an accurate match based on your current needs. The contents of your profile act as matching criteria for programs using Manual Match or the Smart Match Algorithm.
It is also important to keep your profile up to date if you have access to Self Match. This ensures that when someone requests to connect with you, they view accurate information. Similarly, when you search for a connection, you are provided with up-to-date information.
How to update your profile
- Navigate to your account settings on the top right-hand side and select Program Profile to update your profile information.
- Your profile information will open. Navigate through and make the necessary changes. Remember to save at the end!
If you're in multiple programs, you will see multiple profiles for each one - to represent the role you're playing in each one. Be sure to change the correct program!
How to change your mentoring role
Are you currently a Mentorloop Mentee who is keen to help others? Upgrading your role from Mentee to Mentor, or Both, is easy!
Some mentoring programs have not opted for a "Both" option.
Navigate to your program profile as instructed above and go through your previous answers and update where you see fit, including your role type.
Profile, Account and Registration Form Ownership:
Participant registration forms and profiles are only editable by participants themselves, Program Coordinators can not edit participant profile, role or sign-up form data. This is by design, as the data is owned by the participant.
If profile fields need to be updated due to incorrect or outdated information, participants can do this via their Account Menu > Program Profile, edit the relevant fields.
A participant can access and update their profile at any time! We encourage participants to review profile information regularly, ensuring profile data remains accurate. This allows Mentorloop to consistently deliver high-quality matches, based on current objectives, skills and experience.
