Not receiving email notifications

The team at Mentorloop will work with your Program Coordinator to send regular updates as well as mentoring tips to help guide you through your mentoring journey.

When you receive a message, you'll be notified in two ways:

  • Push notifications: If you have the Mentorloop mobile app installed and have enabled push notifications in your device settings, you'll receive instant notifications even when not logged in.
  • Email notifications: You'll also receive email notifications at your registered email address. You can set the frequency of these emails (instant, hourly, or daily digest) in your account settings.
  • Slack notifications (Enterprise only, if enabled): If your organization has enabled the Slack integration, you'll receive Mentorloop notifications directly in your team's Slack workspace. See our Slack notifications help article to learn more.

If you are not receiving Mentorloop emails, below are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve:

  1. Check your junk/spam folder;
  2. See if the email address in your account is entered correctly;
  3. If using a work email, see if your IT team needs to allow-list our domains or IPs.
