Updating your email

You can update the email address associated with your Mentorloop account at any time, as long as you're logged in. This is a self-service action — program coordinators and admins cannot change a participant's email address on their behalf.

If you're logged in:

  1. Click your profile avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  2. Select Account.
  3. Click Edit next to your existing email address.
  4. Enter your new email address and save your changes.

If you can't log in (e.g. you've lost access to your account):

Contact the Mentorloop support team, either by emailing [support email] or using the support widget on the login page. Our team can initiate a change-email request on your behalf, which will send a confirmation email to your new address to verify it before the change takes effect.

 

FAQ

Can my program coordinator change my email address for me?

No. Email address changes must be made by the account holder, either by logging in and updating it directly, or by contacting Mentorloop support if login isn't possible. Coordinators do not have access to edit a participant's email address.

 

Will I need to verify my new email address?

If you update your email while logged in, the change takes effect immediately. If the change is made via the Mentorloop support team (because you couldn't log in), you'll receive a confirmation email to your new address to verify it before the change is applied.

 

What if I no longer have access to my old email inbox?

You don't need access to your old inbox to request a change. Contact Mentorloop support and they can initiate the change using your account details.
