Your signup form is the entry point for every participant joining your mentoring program. From your Dashboard, you can preview it, share it, and control whether it's open or closed to new sign-ups.
Each program has its own signup link
If you run multiple programs in your organisation, each has a separate signup form URL. Always share the link that matches the program you're currently recruiting for.
How do I access my signup form?
There are two ways to reach your signup form options, both give you access to preview, share, and toggle the form on or off.
Option 1: Program name dropdown
Click your program name at the top of the Dashboard (it has a chevron arrow). This opens a quick-access panel where you can:
- Allow new participants to join your program — toggle this on or off to open or close sign-ups
- Invite participants — send invitations directly from Mentorloop
- Copy invitation link — copy your unique signup link to share externally
- Preview signup form — see the form exactly as participants will
Option 2: Program settings
Open the program name dropdown and select Program settings. The Signup form card appears on this page and gives you the same controls in a more detailed view: a Preview button, an Active toggle, and buttons to Copy link or Invite participants.
This is also where the description of your signup link appears, confirming that each successful signup counts toward your total participant count.
How do I preview my signup form?
Select Preview or Preview signup form from either access point above. This opens a read-only version of the form in a new tab, exactly what participants will see when they click your link. Use it to check question order, wording, and role-specific fields before sending your recruitment link.
How do I deactivate my signup form?
If intake has closed for your program, deactivate the signup form to prevent new participants from registering. You can do this in either of the two places above:
- In the program name dropdown: turn off the Allow new participants to join your program toggle
- In Program settings: turn off the Active toggle on the Signup form card
To reopen recruitment later, toggle it back on from either location.
What do participants see when the signup form is deactivated?
Anyone who visits the link while it's deactivated will see a message that registration is now closed. They won't be able to submit an application.
We recommend including your Program Coordinator contact details in all promotional materials, so anyone who finds the link after intake has closed can reach out to register interest for future cohorts.
