What Are Group Loops?
Group Loops allow you to connect with other participants in the program. There are three types of Group Loops that you can be part of: Public, Private and Hidden. These Group Loops are created by your Program Coordinator.
Similar to your 1:1 Loops, Group Loops allows you to connect, ask questions, and share insights and tips with many people in the Loop.
How to join a Group Loop
If you are interested in being involved in a Group Loop in addition to your 1:1 Loops, check to see if there are any available via the Find a Group page. Alternatively, you can check with your Program Coordinator via your 1:1 loop and state your interest!
How to Use Group Loops Effectively
Engaging in Group Loops
-
Stay active: Group Loops have a dedicated chat where you can exchange ideas, ask questions, and support others.
-
Share insights: Post relevant articles, resources, or personal experiences to contribute to the discussion.
-
Respect others: Keep conversations professional and supportive. Your Program Coordinator may also set guidelines and expectations before joining the program via the description page.
Scheduling Group Meetings
-
Schedule Group Meetings to discuss and connect with participants in the Group Loop.
-
Agree on a format: Decide whether meetings will be casual discussions, structured learning sessions, or brainstorming forums.
-
Prepare in advance: Share an agenda or discussion points to keep meetings focused and productive.
Utilise Loop features: Group Notes, Goals and Files
-
Collaborate effectively: Use shared notes to document key takeaways, track progress, or plan group activities.
-
Update regularly: Keep information fresh and relevant by adding summaries of discussions or action points.
-
Review past notes: If you’ve missed a conversation, group notes can help you catch up.
Managing Group Notifications
- Adjust settings: Control notification preferences so you stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.
-
Understand notification settIngs: Group Loop notifications use the same frequency as your account automatically. There may be instances where you need an instant notification for a particular Group Loop, but for others—such as a Public Group Loop—you can adjust these settings from the specific Group Loop Setting.
Set yourself up for success!
-
Introduce yourself: Share a bit about your background and goals to foster meaningful connections.
-
Ask for help: Group Loops are a great place to seek advice from multiple perspectives.
-
Be proactive: Don't wait for others to start conversations—initiate discussions, suggest topics, and engage!
-
Follow up: If a discussion leads to an action item or meeting, follow through to ensure continued learning and connection.
