Your program settings help you set yourself up for success and customize your program's look and feel.
This article explains what you can find in your program settings. For guidance on how to get the most of your settings, view our customization tips.
You can find Program settings in your program dropdown menu in the top navigation bar.
Signup form
From program settings, you can:
Copy the link to your unique signup link that will let people register to your program, or invite participants in bulk
Preview the form
Activate/deactivate the signup form link. For example, if your program has reached the maximum capacity you can deactivate the signup form by toggling off the Active button on the right side (it will be greyed out once deactivated). Anyone who tries to register once the link is deactivated will be notified that registrations are closed.
Target number of participants
Set the number of mentors and mentees you are aiming to have in your program. This target will be reflected on your program coordinator dashboard.
Self Match
Activate/Deactivate Self Match. When Self Match is Activated, participants are able to browse mentors and mentees within this program, and they can request a mentoring connection themselves.
Limit open match requests
Specify a maximum number of open requests a single participant can make. This only applies to requests from the participant and does not include accepted, declined, and canceled requests. Note that changing this value will not impact any currently open requests, and by default, it is set to Unlimited requests.
Customize your program
Customize the look and feel of your program by changing the program name, color and logo.
To ensure your logo is clear throughout your dashboard and signup page ensure you have the following specifications:
- Height: 81px
- Width: Up to 477px
- Orientation: Landscape
- Format: PNG
- Background: Transparent

Program coordinator loop introduction
Top tip: On the right-hand side are special codes that you copy into the introduction message, that will automatically edit and include the participant's first name. This saves you from changing the introduction message each time a new participant is onboard and allows it to be more personal.
What new participants see:
New match email notification
When you create a new loop for two participants, they will be sent an email notifying them that they have been matched and introducing them to their partner. You can customize the default email notification message from program settings.
Note that when you create a new loop, you'll still have the opportunity to not send the email or to customize the message content individually.
Dashboard introduction message
This feature allows you to add an optional message for all your participants to see on their dashboards. You can begin writing your message on the left and be able to preview it on the left before posting.
It is supported by Markdown Syntax which gives you the ability to edit your message such as your font, adding links or adding dot points.
