Your Mentorloop interface is organised into four main areas: the participant dashboard, the left sidebar, the Program Menu, and the Account Menu. This article gives you a quick tour of where everything lives and what you can do from each.
New to Mentorloop?
If you've just joined a program, the dashboard is your starting point. You'll land here automatically after signing in.
What is the participant dashboard?
The participant dashboard is the home of your mentoring program. It presents your five key areas for mentoring success:
- Your Loops and respective Milestones
- Goals
- Recommended reading
- Highlights
- Support (Help Hub and Academy)

What can I do from the left sidebar?
The left sidebar lets you move between program pages, including the dashboard, Program resources, and Goals. It's also where you'll find matching tools if they're available on your program:
- Find a match
- Match requests
- Recommended matches
From the sidebar, you can also access your active loop conversations, with your Program Coordinator, your mentoring matches, or any Group Loops you're part of.
What is the Program Menu?
The Program Menu is located at the top left of the page. Use it to access your program information, including:
- Availability for mentoring
- Updating your profile
- Switching between your current program and another program you're enrolled in
What can I access from the Account Menu?
Your account settings are in the top right corner, click your name or profile picture to open them. From here you can manage:
- Personal information — update your email and password
- Integrations — connect your calendar, video conferencing, and Slack accounts
- Preferences — manage your timezone and language settings, and notification frequency
- Availability — make yourself available or unavailable for future matches, and set your maximum number of matches
- Programs — switch to another program if you're part of multiple
How do I view my notifications?
View your in-app notifications by clicking the bell icon next to your Program Menu. You'll be notified here of new matches, messages, and other program activity.
How do I join another program on Mentorloop?
To join another program, you need an invitation from the Program Coordinator. Once you have the unique link or invite, here's what to do:
- Sign in using your existing account credentials.
- Complete the registration form for the new program.
- Program Coordinators ask different questions for each program, relevant to matching. This is why you share your goals per program, but you don't need to create a separate account. For example, your goals in a Reverse Mentoring program will differ from those in a Leadership Development program.
- Toggle between your programs from the Program Menu (top left).
