The Mentorloop Sentiment page is a real-time feed of mentor and mentee sentiment about your mentoring program. This includes your mentor and mentee match satisfaction, feedback on mentoring meetings and feelings of progress on their mentoring journey. But how do we collect this feedback? Via timely, relevant surveys sent to your Participants by Mentorloop.
MQS (Mentoring Quality Score) Survey
The MQS survey is sent to participants who are in an active 1:1 Loop or are part of a Group Loop that has MQS enabled. It helps Program Coordinators understand how the relationships are going between participants who are connected. This survey is automatically sent to participants after 30 days of being in a match, and is then sent every 60 days after.
Post-Meeting Survey
Understand how your mentors and mentees went with their mentoring meetings. This survey is sent after a mentor or mentee launches a meeting within their 1:1 or group loop.
Close Loop Survey
Understand why a mentoring relationship has come to an end. This survey is sent when a mentor or mentee opts to 'Close Loop' in their 1:1 loop. The close loop survey will also be sent to any group loop that is closed by the program coordinator.
Mentorloop Surveys
Created by Program Coordinators, our built-in survey tool makes it simple to design and send surveys to participants—helping you gather valuable feedback at any stage of their mentoring journey.
Shareable Survey Link
Want to boost your survey response rates? Each Mentorloop Survey you create includes a Shareable Survey Link, a single, reusable URL that you can distribute to your participants through any channel outside of Mentorloop.
How it works:
- When you create or open a Mentorloop Survey, you'll find a shareable link that can be copied and shared with your participants.
- Share the link via your intranet, internal newsletters, LMS, company communications, or even display it as a QR code at in-person events to drive on-the-spot completion.
- Participants will need to log in to their Mentorloop account to complete the survey when accessing it via the shareable link. This ensures responses are attributed to the correct participant.
Why use it?
- Improve response rates by meeting participants where they already are, rather than relying solely on Mentorloop's email notification.
- Promote surveys at events — display the link or a QR code on screen during a session and have participants complete it before they leave.
- Embed in existing workflows — add the link to your LMS, SharePoint, or internal communications so participants can access surveys alongside other program resources.
Note: The shareable link is available for Mentorloop Surveys created by Program Coordinators. It is not available for the automated surveys (MQS, Post-Meeting, or Close Loop), which are sent directly to participants by Mentorloop.
Participant Story Request
If a mentor or mentee selects a 5/5 on their MQS survey, an automated response is sent to ask for more details on the success of their mentoring relationship.
Participant Stories
Once a mentor or mentee submits their answers to the participant story request, our marketing team will pull together a one pager and share this with the Program Coordinator.
Kudos Email
If a mentor or mentee selects a 5/5 on their MQS survey, a Kudos email will be sent to their respective mentoring partner.
NPS (Net Promoter Score)
This is an in app survey to understand how our mentors and mentees rate their Mentorloop experience. This is an opportunity for participants to provide suggestions, improvements and feedback on the platform, so that we can continue to improve the experience.
