Hello and welcome to Mentorloop! We're thrilled to welcome you and to support your program to becoming the best it can be.

Whether your organization is joining Mentorloop for the first time, or you're a new Program Coordinator joining an existing program, this guide will help you get clear on next steps and what to expect from your first few weeks with Mentorloop.

It includes insight into the onboarding process, including the different what to expect from your first few weeks with Mentorloop, and a centralized list of key training resources and where to go for support.

How will my onboarding work?

Over the first few weeks as a Mentorloop customer, a series of emails will guide you through the key milestones for Program Coordinators to set up and launch your program towards success. These milestones are:

  • Program set-up: build your program, practice in demo mode and launch 
  • Invite participants: share your signup form and start recruiting participants
  • Monitor and manage signups: support people in the registration process
  • Matching: where the true mentoring magic happens! Help your participants find a match and get their mentoring journeys started

What training will I get?

As you move through the onboarding milestones, you'll be sent relevant training resources via email like the one below to help you to move forward and get your program set up for success. 

If you're keen to get ahead on the training or are joining an existing program, you can access all the training videos and resources on demand to help you run your program:

What training do my participants receive?

Mentorloop will guide your people through the Mentoring Milestones via series of email "nudges", teaching them how to use Mentorloop.

We also have a comprehensive Mentor and Mentee Training Course which is designed to empower them through every stage of their mentoring journeys.

Consider adding this to your Recommended Reading or sending it to participants directly to complete when they join your program.

Can I see what Mentorloop is like for my participants? 

Yes! You can invite up to three participant test accounts while in demo mode before launch. This allows you to see what it's like to be a participant on your program and gain confidence supporting your people ahead of program launch. Once launched, all demo data and participant test accounts will be deleted.

What happens after launch?

🚫 All pre-populated demo data and participant test accounts will be deleted
🚫 Your signup form will be finalized and you can no longer make any changes. If you would like to make updates in the future, reach out to support@mentorloop.com 
✅ Your program will be live but participants cannot join until you have invited them to the program
✅ Your matching style can be changed at any time post-launch from your program settings, by toggling Self match on or off
✅ Your program settings can be changed at any time post-launch, including your logo, program colour, and the automated messages participants receive

No matter where you are in your program journey - whether you're completely new to Mentorloop, or are a longstanding Mentorloop customer - we're committed to educating and supporting you and your program as best we can. That's why we're always adding to and improving our Help Hub and Academy, which are the homes to our support resources that guide you (and your participants) on how to use Mentorloop, overcome challenges and become the best program coordinator, mentor, or mentee you can be.

What customization is included?

Mentorloop Pro is purposely designed to help you build and launch your program quickly and easily, and includes templates and guidelines to make this possible. This includes:

  • Program Builder: offers limited customization of the signup form. Further customziation such as additional questions or changes to the language of the questions is exclusive to Enterprise. 
  • Custom Surveys: allow you to measure impact, NPS or get a program pulse check in line with your unique program timelines. You can use our pre-created survey templates, selecting up to five questions from a question bank of pre-created questions. Custom questions are available with Enterprise only.
  • Automated participant messages: including the Program Coordinator loop introduction and New Match email notification are fully customizable with Mentorloop Pro, and can be edited from your Program Settings at any time. 
  • Recommended Reading: this is fully customizable, providing a curated list of resource suggestions for your participants.  

Bitesize Training webinars

Beyond always accessible support online, we run monthly "bitesize" training webinars for Program Coordinators to help you save time managing your program, up-skill as a Program Coordinator and support your participants better. Each training covers a different topic that is highly focussed.

You'll automatically be sent the monthly calendar invitations once you've completed your onboarding and your program us up and running, so you never miss a session. Join live, or watch recordings of past webinars on demand.
